With two sharpening angles, you can easily give all your blades, from kitchen knives to pocket knives, a fresh sharpness. The HORL®3 Cruise is made from ocean-bound plastic, and with its matching sandy colour, it will blend into your kitchen and accompany you on your culinary adventures every day.

	Made from Ocean Material On the beach and up to 50 km inland, our Swiss partner #tide® collects plastic and carefully processes it into granulate. From this, we manufacture the HORL ®3 Cruise in the Black Forest, breathing new life into this valuable raw material.
Diamond disc for fast initial sharpening The standard diamond disc is pre-installed on all HORL ® sharpeners. You can use it to grind knives of any hardness efficiently and give them a high-quality sharpness. This is ensured by its extremely durable block diamonds
	Stainless steel disc for a clean edge The permanently fitted stainless steel honing disc ensures a smooth knife edge after sharpening with the standard diamond disc. Thanks to the integrated grooves, you can remove any grinding dust in just a few strokes.
Block diamonds for maximum efficiency The block diamonds on the standard diamond disc achieve up to 80% more steel removal compared to the HORL ®2 version. This makes sharpening even faster and results in a more uniform grinding pattern.
	20° grinding angle for robust sharpness The 20° grinding angle ensures a long-lasting sharpness for everyday use on sturdy blades such as European chef's knives. The 20° angle will also give outdoor and pocket knives a robust cutting edge.
15° grinding angle for filigree sharpness The 15° grinding angle gives particularly fine blades made from high-quality carbon or Damascus steel a filigree sharpness. High levels of hardness in such steels allow a knife edge to be sharpened very finely.
	Securely fixed with maximum grip Developed for an even stronger hold, the HORL ® Grip Pad provides up to 70% more grip than the HORL ®2 version. With its ultra-strong magnets, it is now better at holding even the smallest of knife blades in place.
From the beach to your kitchen The best plastic is one that already exists. Together with our regional partners in the Black Forest, we add a small amount of pigment to colour the #tide Ocean material. This gives the HORL ®3 Cruise a light sandy look, reminiscent of its origins.
