Shipping policy

We offer FREE UK Mainland Delivery on ALL applicable orders - a minimum spend of £40 or more is required.

* Excludes some items whereby delivery is not available due to the weight, time sensitivity, and fragility of the items, e.g. Wood Pellets >10kg, Meat, and Charcoal.

** Excludes Spare parts and T-Shirts which are shipped directly from the Manufacturer, and is charged at cost.

*** Please note that to certain postcode areas, there may be an additional surcharge put forward by the carrier in addition to the usual fees. In such instances, where the price difference is significant, we would raise this with the purchaser prior to dispatch as we would require a payment of the price difference. (Applies to but is not limited to Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland)  If in doubt please contact us first.

Please note that the above promotion only applies to products available to purchase online. Items unavailable to purchase via the website, and as such can only be purchased in-store, do not qualify.

Order and Collect

Collect from our Hyde, Manchester store (After 24 hours of order placed*) subject to opening times.
A copy of your order confirmation is required with you to receive your items from our store.

Offshore - (Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland)

Delivery options advertised cover UK Mainland and most regions. If delivery is required to these areas, a surcharge may apply for courier deliveries and for heavy-weight items where a two-man service is required to you. We do our utmost to include the majority of destinations and advise these surcharges at the point of ordering with us. Delivery times are 24 to 48 hours depending on the service. Delivery times to the Highlands and Islands is 3 to 5 WORKING Days.

Rest of the World

If you live outside the UK and require international shipping, please get in touch with us at pitmaster@Fireflybbq.co.uk. We can price up shipping for any destination. Please include your contact details, address details, and full order requirements. We can then quickly issue you with a quote for your destination.
Please note that we are NOT liable for any import taxes or duty fees.


Turnaround

We aim for all orders to be shipped within 48 hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 2 pm. Orders placed after 12 pm will usually be shipped the next working day. Due to the large number of orders placed over the weekend, orders may take 48 or even 72 hours to despatch at the start of the week.
Please email/message if you need a priority despatch.

During busy periods
All orders are dispatched using the courier services outlined.
During seasonal peaks, e.g., Christmas, New Year, and SALE periods, please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be dispatched.

Carriers & Tracking

We use APC, FedEx, UPS, DHL & Royal Mail to deliver our orders. The shipping carrier provides a tracking number, and we will update your order with the tracking information. All our carriers are moving to paperless notifications, and they will use either SMS text or email to update you. In the event of a failed delivery attempt, you will receive an SMS or an Email to let you know the courier attempted delivery. Although the term "Carded" is used, it includes these and no longer means a piece of paper.

Pallet Delivery

Pallet deliveries are only available to MAINLAND UK and to NORTHERN IRELAND (at an additional charge) delivery addresses only.

The majority of barbecues weighing over 30kg will be delivered on a pallet (approx 1.2m square), this is to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition.

The delivery driver will not be able to carry the barbecue up or down steps, carry the barbecue through a property, wheel the pallet across a gravel driveway or up particularly steep driveways. Unfortunately the delivery company will be unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. The driver will normally only be able to wheel the pallet as far as physically possible which may even be the kerbside.

On pallet deliveries please assume the delivery will be made on a long heavy goods vehicle, please contact us if there are weight, height or parking restrictions or difficult access points before your order is despatched so that we can make alternative arrangements, failure to do so may result in a failed delivery and re-delivery charge.

Pallet deliveries cannot be made :

  •     On to soft ground such as grass, gravel, or soil.
  •     To a premises where it is illegal for a lorry to park or offload.
  •     Where the surface of the access road is very unstable, soft or muddy.
  •     Where the access road is on a steep incline.
  •     Where the access road does not provide 10 feet (3.05m) width clearance and 14 feet (4.27m) vertical clearance.
