Was recommended the dirty dozen from a colleague. Only tried a few to date, both rubs and marinades have been excellent.
Haven't used them yet but supplier had a good reputation so im sure they'll be good.
Monolith LeChef Heat protector stone
The base plate, also called the protector disk, lies on the bottom of the Grill body in the monolith.
It is placed in the middle of the fire basket. It serves the additional heat insulation in the ceramic grill body.
You can further increase the insulating effect of the protector disk,
by sprinkling a little sand on the bottom of the monolith before the
Disc is inserted.
The base plate is made of high quality ceramic.
